The Book Wizard is a link on the Scholastic website. It allows you to see if Scholastic has given a book a “sensitive content” rating. What this means is that while Scholastic feels like the book is valuable to the classroom, there may be content in the book that is sensitive to some readers. For example, there are books about the Holocaust that were given a sensitive content rating due to the graphic nature of the Holocaust. “To Kill a Mockingbird” has a sensitive content rating as well. If you feel like your son or daughter can handle such content, feel free to message or call me to discuss.
