I began teaching at Lyndon Elementary in 1984. My first class at Lyndon was a fourth grade position. The next year I had the opportunity to move to second grade. I have enjoyed second grade so have remained in this position. I have also been a Cheerleader Coach at the high school and junior high levels, Dance coach at the high school level, Concession Stand Coordinator, Assistant Junior High Basketball Coach and the After School Coordinator.
Before beginning my career at Lyndon I substituted at Lyndon and Osage City. I also taught at the Lyndon United Methodist Preschool.
My husband’s name is Danny. I have three children who all attended and graduated from Lyndon. I have eight grandchildren. I presently have one granddaughter who attends Lyndon.
I love to sew especially quilting. My plans are to make a quilt for each of my grandchildren. I enjoy following my grandkids in all their adventures. Presently, I enjoy watching volleyball, basketball, football, baseball and softball. This year having a granddaughter and grandson in high school, I will be spending many hours sitting on the bleacher enjoying cheering these two on.
